dream

i had a dream about you... it was crazy we were meeting for a flashmob (clic)it was great but then i had to wake up and change Jules diaper... how fun! How are you? I sent your x-mas present... I hope you like it! i'm leaving on thursday to go to Paris to seb's dad's. it's gonna be freezing... i really need to find a warm jacket to wear there... but i just don't want to spend money on something i'll wear once or twice... Do you have one i could borrow??? haha... Anyways, seb is sick so i have to take care of jules by myself and it's not easy (i wonder how single parents do) What are your plans for the holidays? I'll only see my parents from The 29th til Jan. 2nd... but it's ok i'll go to Gujan for a week en february... I'm actually thinking about surprising them by showing up on tuesday in Moustiers, but it's 1h45 minutes away and i wonder if it's a good idea to go there for one day... what would you do????

hey how was your week? mine was good, Santa came to school yesterday, it was adorable to see all the kids staring and waving! My friend Oriane asked me to make announcement cards for the birth of her baby (i believe i told you that) so i've been doing that. i'm not finished yet but it looks like it should be cute:you haven't told me what you want for x-mas... i just can't decide what to get you... How is Kris? Tell him i said hi! Seb quit smoking, so it's great! Jules is the cutest (of course), tonight he fell asleep while i was singing some ladybug song to him...P.S: i have a button maker!!!

i have a favor to ask... i'm looking for a "button maker" and the only ones i can find on the internet are ones that are in the U.S... they are toys called "the amazing button maker" or "EZ Pop Button Maker" i'm sure you can find them on e-bay... could you send me one if it's not too expensive? (and of course if Santa hasn't prepared anything yet!!), i've been trying to find something cool to send you for x-mas but i just can't decide what you'd like so if you have any idea... anything you'd like for your room? (maybe a wall sticker that says something in french?) clothes? a purse? jewelry? something homemade? i just can't decide and i need to because x-mas is coming up!!!! let me know!

baptism

just wanted you to know that jules will be baptized on april 17th in Moustiers at 11 am (in case you could make it).I'm really excited about preparing everything. The green and blue candy you see on the picture are traditionnal almond or chocolate candies (candy?) offered to the family for baptisms in France. and the charm is offered by the godmother or godfather on that day. Anyways, i got the results back on my "inspection" (you know when my boss came?) and it says he's really satisfied with my work! so it's great... How was your week? is your mom excited about the wedding? love you!

hey! i'm so excited about Mandy's big news... it's great, i hope she's happy and that you're not upset about not having her with you anymore... Tell her i said congratulations and that if there's anything i can do to help, i'll be happy to! (My friend Oriane asked me to make cards for her second baby's birth (you know to let everyone know how much she weighs and everything...) and i'm really excited about it! ) When is the wedding? where? how was your thanksgiving weekend? I miss you all! Your mom and i are friends on facebook now! Other than that nothing big... i haven't done much this weekend... (it rained) "blog you later", love you!

creative

i know you're gonna say i'm creative but i just can't stay home and do nothing... i get bored! So, here are the things i made : it took me 4 months to make the sweater for Jules, but i finally finished it last week and guess what? he can't wear it it's too big! The photo album is made with enveloppes it's for seb's step mom. We're going to Paris for x-mas to spend the holidays with her and Seb's dad so i thought she'd enjoy this:Here are the 2 new shirts i made for Zoe's baby and for Jules' friend Pauline, they're not as cute as the one i had made for Jules... and here is the card for the "x-mas swap" ,i made it with the christmas scrapbooking things you sent me:

i know i haven't been good at the blog thing this week... Here is an update: last weekend we went to "Nimes" where seb's aunt and grandpa live. We spent the day there, it was fun. Seb's aunt is all about scrapbooking so we had a lot to talk about! This week i created a blog for school: www.lamaurelle.blogspot.com, i took my first sewing class on thrusday night (i don't think i'm patient enough to be good at it but at least i know a few things about sewing!), i moved the furniture around in my living room, my friend Aurélie (she's the one i met at the lamaze class) and her baby came for coffee and pastries yesterday and Jules and Pauline were really cute: they kissed, argued a little bit, stared at each other, played, it was so cute! Jules fell down yesterday morning and hit his head on the concrete so he looks like a boxer (i almost cried i felt so guilty) Other than that, nothing big, i'll send you a few pics of what i've been making (another shirt like Jules for Pauline, a sweater for Jules,a x-mas card for the "x-mas swap" i'm organizing (5 of my friends and i are preparing a x-mas package with a card, a decoration, something to eat and a surprise and we'll all send our package to one another between Dec.10th and 20th) it should be great. Next time you'll have to do it with us!!! I'll organize a new swap in 2010 and i'll let you know... ) Love you!

i got the package you sent us! thank you sooooo much i was sooo excited, it was unexpected too! i love my jacket and the scrapbooking things! and Jules' sweater and pants are adorable! breaks and stuff...

i know it's weird about Vinciane and Hannah. They just happen to work on the same book with their students so even though they don't know one another they're gonna help each other! Here are the different breaks i get in 2010:

winter: february	saturday 6th to	monday 22nd
spring: april	saturday 3rd to	monday 19th
summer: july	friday 2nd to august 30st

You can come anytime you want, we'll make room for you (i'm excited already!) and i was thinking we could both go to Moustiers (about 2 hours away from Aubagne) with Jules, that way, you can see my place and Marseille for a few days and then another village (very typical and cute). The only thing is i probably won't be there in August since seb and i will go to Guadeloupe (i hope). I guess the best time to come is in april or July!
Yesterday Seb, Jules and i went to the circus' zoo to see all the animals it was fun:

Jules has been with us for 14 months!!!can you believe it? he can walk and talk now he's really cute. Of course he touches everything and gets hurt once in a while but he's adorable. he knows how to say mom,dad, cookie, bye, shoe, he can make animal sounds (the cow, the pig, the cat, the horse, the dog...) he's sooo smart! (just as bright as his mom right? haha) he looks for the pillow you got him to make the sound of a pig when he finds it! he loves to look at children's books, he crosses his legs when he sits... i love him to death!

flat stanley

do you know who he is? he's the main character of a children's book who travels in enveloppes because he's flat. Anyways, vinciane is working on it with her students and she needs to send a drawing of stanley to different parts of France or the world so that her students can discover what these places are like. I was about to ask you to host stanley and take pictures of him in different places for her but Hannah Gant asked me to host one on facebook. So they're gonna do it together isn't it cool? how are you?

Cooking!

i feel like i've cooked for hours but it'll be goooooood: i made pancakes for breakfast, bread for lunch, a chocolat cake and a french meal called "pot au feu". It has vegetables and meat. it's kind of like a soup but it stays on the stove for 4 hours. It's yummy! i think i'll go and make yogurts now so byebye! how was your weekend?

my week
